Welding Fluxes
Usage and Importance
Welding fluxes are auxiliary materials used especially in brazing (hard soldering) and soft soldering processes. During welding, they prevent oxidation on the metal surface, ensure proper spreading of the filler metal on the surface, and contribute to achieving strong, leak-proof, and clean joints.
Application Areas:
* Silver, brass, copper
* Air conditioning and refrigeration systems
* Electrical and electronic soldering
* Metal tube and part joining
* Automotive and white goods manufacturing
Application Method:
1. Apply an appropriate amount of flux to the surface to be brazed or directly onto the filler wire.
2. As the welding area is heated, the flux becomes active and protects the surface.
3. The filler wire melts, spreads evenly over the surface, and creates a strong joint.
4. After welding, flux residues are cleaned, and the workpiece takes its final form.
At Arslan Kaynak Metal, we provide high-quality flux products suitable for different metal types and temperature ranges. Please contact us to determine the most suitable flux type for your application.
