Copper Welding Wire
Usage Areas and Method
Usage Areas:
Copper welding wire is a welding material with high conductivity and heat resistance, especially used for joining the same or similar metals. It is generally preferred in the following areas:
* Electrical and electronics industry (joining conductive parts)
* Heating and cooling systems (welding of copper pipes)
* Connections of copper pipes and sheets
* Automotive sector (joining parts exposed to heat)
* Industrial equipment and piping systems
Usage Method:
1. Surface Preparation: The surfaces to be welded are cleaned from oxides, oils, and dirt.
2. Heating: The welding area is evenly heated with an appropriate heat source (usually an oxy-acetylene flame).
3. Wire Application: The copper welding wire is applied to the surface once it reaches the required temperature. The wire melts and fills the joint gap.
4. Flux Usage: If necessary, a suitable flux material is used to ensure smooth flow of the wire and to prevent oxidation.
5. Cooling and Cleaning: After the process is completed, the parts are cooled slowly and flux residues are cleaned off.
Copper welding wire provides a durable and reliable connection, especially in applications where high electrical and thermal conductivity are critical.
